Soapydeity (they/Them) is a Toronto-based artist, designer, and cosplayer with a BFA in Digital Art and Expanded Animation from OCAD University.

Since 2019, Soap has built a career as a cosplay content creator and event guest, designing and constructing character costumes from the ground up. That work has taken them to conventions and gaming events across North America and Europe, including Gamescom in Germany, AnimeNYC, Brooklyn Comic Con, and Crunchyroll Takes Toronto, and many more! This hobby turned profession has also led to brand collaborations with companies like Uniqlo, Miniso, Mortal Kombat, and Skyweaver/Horizon Games. Along the way, they have grown a dedicated following of over 300,000 across social platforms. Soap is active in community involvement and advocacy within the cosplay and creative community, using their platform to support and uplift the spaces that shaped their career as a queer and trans artist.
